Thanks for speaking to the loneliness of heart for those of us who have exited the regular Sunday morning gatherings. It is especially difficult when you live in a smaller town/area, and you are not aware of others who have taken a similar journey. This is a conversation that applies to not only those who have exited "professional ministry" but also to rest of the priesthood of believers. Many of us (laity) have been taught in ways that we are not to trust our own thoughts in many areas, but rather to submit our thinking to the thoughts of those "over" us. It helps to hear you talk about the journey and the process, and yes, to address the feelings that we must be crazy. Oh, and by the way, there are way more than 6 of us listening to this podcast!
