These are some websites containing content we have found valuable, insightful, or thought-provoking.   Listing here is not necessarily an endorsement of every view held by the sites or their various authors.  (In fact, in a few cases we disagree rather strongly with certain ideas presented .  Read with an open mind, search the scriptures, draw your conclusions, and if you want my opinion, ask)

Worship Without Walls -  website designed to facilitate gathering together and sharing of information among house churches and other "underground" believers in the Omaha NE area, announcements of inter-HC events.

Relational Christianity - "the Journey Continues" - tons of resources including news articles pertaining to house church, essays by Wayne Jacobsen and others, a "message board" to help 'outside the institution' believers find each other, a discussion forum and more.

House Church Central - Includes a discussion list, resources, and a directory.

LifeStream.org - Wayne Jacobsen's website (author of The Naked Church and Authentic Relationships: Discover the Lost Art of One Anothering)

the God Journey - weekly "podcast" by Wayne Jacobsen and Brad Cummings.  Lots of provocative and insightful discussion - highly recommended!

BatteredSheep.com - Stories and resources for victims of religious abuse.  (Lots of intense eye-openers here...)

3rd Day Churches - "a simple band of brothers and sisters, an unorthodox fraternity of pilgrims, and an adventurous fellowship of ‘permission givers’ who want to encourage one another in doing church differently, and hopefully more effectively in this postmodern third millennium".  More good articles and resources.

Crushed Grapes - Frank Smith's website - lots of insightful reading material (we were recently graced by a visit from Frank at one of our Tuesday gatherings)

SimpleChurchConnect.com - Great Plains network of house churches connected with DAWN Ministries and focused on church planting. 

Searching Together - Bookstore/community in Taylor's Falls MN.  Publishers of Searching Together magazine, and hosts of the annual "Searching Together" conference.  Lots of great articles and links.

Searching Together Online Discussion Forum - space for interactive discussion of topics on the ST site, continuing dialog from the ST Conference, and other related issues.  Feel free to register, login, and post your thoughts.  (I can say that, I'm the moderator).

TheReal Church.com - Andy Zoppelt's website devoted to house church issues and theology.  Lots of thoughtful, well-written articles.

House2House - another excellent resource - free magazine available, as well as info on the National House Church Conference (many more resources on their "links" page)

New Reformation Review - Dan Trotter's online magazine "Dedicated to the Advancement of House Church Christianity."  MANY provocative articles.

New Testament Restoration Foundation - lots more house church resources, links to conference info, articles, testimonials, publisher of Steve Atkerson's "Ekklesia - to the Roots of Biblical Church Life"

OutofBabylon.com  - John Schmitt's website, where he presents his theological and doctrinal positions.  Some of his views fall a bit outside the framework of mainstream Protestantism (beware! you may be strongly challenged by some of his ideas), but he is always open to discussion and debate (which is one of the reasons we love him!).  Of particular interest is his discussion of "Passion Week" Chronology.

House Church Blog - lots of great articles; a place to share ideas, enthusiasm, etc on house church

Christian Home Church Network - Bennington Nebraska - contains some good articles and observations.

Ray Mayhew Online - an online Biblical Studies center with a full range of resources for seekers, new Christians, mature believers, and leaders in local church and cross-cultural ministry.  Includes some very scholarly stuff.  Ray heads the Biblical Studies ministry at Trinity Church in Omaha.

Devon Leesley - Devon is a Christian singer-songwriter from Council Bluffs Iowa.  At this site you can download all his music for free.  Also, some of his experiences are recorded online here, an interesting read.
